Prof. Tiejun Wang appointed Editorial Board Member of Ecohydrology

Prof. Tiejun Wang from SESS has been appointed by Keith Smettem, the editor-in-chief of Ecohydrology, as the Editorial Board member of the journal since July, 2021.

Ecohydrology is an international journal publishing original scientific and review papers that aim to improve understanding of processes at the interface between ecology and hydrology and associated applications related to environmental management. Ecohydrology seeks to increase interdisciplinary insights by placing particular emphasis on interactions and associated feedbacks in both space and time between ecological systems and the hydrological cycle. Research contributions are solicited from disciplines focusing on the physical, ecological, biological, biogeochemical, geomorphological, drainage basin, mathematical and methodological aspects of ecohydrology. Prof. Tiejun Wang mainly works on the field of ecohydrology, pedohydrology, soil physics, and land surface processes. He has published more than 60 peer reviewed papers in high-level academic journals, such as Environmental Research Letters, Journal of Geophysical Research, Journal of Hydrology, and Water Resources Research. Prof. Wang is the deputy director for Tianjin Key Laboratory of Earth’s Critical Zone Science and Sustainable Development in Bohai Rim, and National Observation and Research Station for Critical Zone Observatory of Bohai Coastal Region.
