On October 23-25, SESS Associate Dean Prof. LI Xiaodong headed a group to visit two middle schools in Hebei and Henan province. Prof. LIU Jing gave popular science report on whether earthquakes and volcanic eruptions can be predicted for nearly 1000 students there. During the visit, Prof. LI Xiaodong on behalf of Tianjin University set up a partnership with Nangong Middle School in Hebei Province for recommending excellent students to the university.
