Briefing: In September 2020, SESS welcomed its first undergraduate class of 28 freshmen together with 44 master students and 23 doctor students. A continuation of Orientation was programmed through the three weeks from 10 to 30 September.
On the morning of September 11th, the opening ceremony for 2020 undergraduate and graduate students of SESS was held respectively. Academician Liu Cong-qiang, SESS Dean, gave a lecture on the school's history and the future development of earth system science. He encouraged all students to do their best to fulfill their dreams and acquaint themselves with the natural world and human society to make a contribution to society.
In last few weeks, some visits and meetings were arranged for the new comers to quickly integrate into the new environment.
