On May 8, 2020, Yu Guirui, academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences was invited to give a lecture online entitled "Mission and Development Trend of Ecosystem Ecology" at Pei Yang Forum.
Before the lecture, Li Jiajun, Party Secretary of Tianjin University, met with Academician Yu Guirui. Li Jiajun introduced the development of Tianjin University and School of Earth System Science. He sincerely invited Academician Yu to join hands with TJU faculty members to advance the earth system science.
