On April 11, ISESS held online a celebration event for its 5th anniversary. More than 200 faculty and staff, students and alumni joined the event.
Following a short video clip looking back on the endeavors and moments during the past years from 2015 to 2020, three presentations were given on the achievements, development plan and key objectives in year 2020. During the event, an education fund was established to provide prizes, scholarships and financial aid for full-time students.
Earlier in March, School of Earth System Science (SESS) was officially set up on the basis of Institute of Surface-Earth System Science, to further expand the talent training to undergraduate level.
