The Institute hold a 1-month academic campaign on Earth Sciences in October 2018. Dozens of well-known scientists and scholars from home and abroad were invited to the event to share their research advancement and scientific pursuits.
During the campaign, 27 seminars were given, covering astronomical chemistry, sedimentary and paleoclimate, isotope applications, biogeochemistry, watershed geochemistry, atmospheric environment and many other fields. Besides, the Institute also held an International Symposium on “Fingerprints of weathering processes and anthropogenic impacts in riverine transported materials”.
