On 28th April, Dr. Susan Waldron, professor of University of Glasgow, guest professor of ISESS, Tianjin University, gave an academic lecture on "Lakes & Environmental Change".
Prof. Susan Waldron runs the Carbon Landscape and Drainage Research Group (www.carbonlandscapes.org) of UoG , which mainly focuses on C cycling in river systems. However, she also works on lakes and offers lectures to students in the area of limnology.
