Since the ISESS started admissions campaign in June 2016, its faculty members have visited many leading universities nationwide to get top postgraduate students. After rounds of examinations and interviews, ISESS finally gave 47 letters of acceptance, among which 32 were for master students and 15 for Ph.D students. More than one third of those students are from leading universities and institutions, like Nanjing university, Harbin Institute of Technology, China University of Geosciences, Chinese Academy of Sciences, etc..
