On 25th October, the on-site national scholarship defense for the 2016 ISESS master students was held. 5 students entered the on-site assessment based on the independent declaration and preliminary examination on the applilcation materials. They were LIU Mingxuan, CHEN Sainan, YANG Ye ,ZHENG Xudong.
The ISESS Scholarship Evaluation Committee consisted of 1 academician of Chinese Academy of Science (CAS), 3 laureates of National Fund for Excellent Young Scholars and 1 professor. Firstly the five candidates presented their academic performance and comprehensive capabilities, and secondly they defended their academic ideas by answering questions from the committee and adding more information to their previous experiences. . After overall evaluation, Mr. LIU Mingxuan won the only 1 candidature of the National scholarship at ISESS.
