The School of Earth System Science (SESS) at Tianjin University and Tianjin Xinhua High School officially signed the Cooperation Agreement on the "Smart Geoscience · Future Earth" Program for the Cultivation of Top Innovative Talents through Integrated Education, upgrading their educational collaboration to fully build a new paradigm of university-middle school collaborative education.
Centered on "interest stimulation, discipline enlightenment, capacity building, practice empowerment, and career guidance", the cooperation focuses on targeted efforts in areas such as popular science lectures, project-based learning, competition training, and teacher exchanges, while exploring the joint construction of discipline laboratories. It aims to transform the scientific research advantages and cutting-edge perspectives of the university into driving forces for middle school education, helping teenagers foster a scientific spirit and enhance innovative capabilities. Currently, collaborative initiatives including popular science lectures, project-based learning, and discipline competition training have been fully launched and are progressing in an orderly manner.
