From July 27 to August 1, a delegation from SESS, led by Executive Associate Dean Li Siliang, participated in the 22nd Annual Meeting of the Asia Oceania Geosciences Society (AOGS2025). The group hosted a dedicated exhibition booth to promote faculty recruitment opportunities to outstanding scholars worldwide in geoscience-related fields.

The delegation highlighted the school’s developmental milestones, key research areas, core recruitment disciplines, and the talent support ecosystem at both university and school levels. Their presentations drew over 100 scholars to the booth for in-depth discussions. Notably, several international scientists in earth sciences gained their first comprehensive exposure to SESS and expressed strong interest in recommending young talents for faculty positions after productive exchanges.
This initiative aligns with TJU’s strategy to strengthen its global talent network and advance cutting-edge research in earth sciences.
