The 2023-2024 Preliminary Contest of Chinese Earth Science Olympiad (Tianjin) was held by SESS. On 17 March, nearly 400 middle school students from nearly 20 high schools came to Tianjin University for the contest. Some students visited the TJU Earth System Science Population Base after the contest, expressing their interest in the earth science.
The Chinese Earth Science Olympiad (CESO) was a national competition for middle school students from around China. The main purpose of the competition is to attract public interest in Earth Science and train qualified students prepared for the International Olympics of Earth Sciences (IESO).
