Abstract:
There is a long dispute of hydroclimate change in central Asia during the Holocene. Existed climate records mainly came from lake sediments and loess from Xinjiang province, China, which might be suffer from complicated circulation, dating errors and low resolution. Here, we present an absolutely dated, high resolution stalagmite records from Kyrghyzstan, which give a chance to reconstruct the hydroclimate change in central Asia during the Holocene. We distinguished a series of droughts in this region and discussed their impact to prehistorical human society.
