Abstract: Nitrate and sulfate in urban aerosol have harmful impact on environment and ecosystem via dry and wet deposition. Based on the analyses of contents and isotopic compositions of nitrate and sulfate in urban aerosol, and comparisons of regional, seasonal, and diurnal differences along with the change in the weather conditions, we can explore the transformation mechanism of nitrate and sulfate, and may quantify the rates of contribution to them from different potential sources which supported by isotopic fractionating mechanism and the Bayesian model.
