Speaker: Prof. LI Wei from Nanjing University
LI Wei is professor and doctoral supervisor from School of Earth Sciences and Engineering, Nanjing University. He received his PhD degree in Stony Brook University at 2010. Then he conducted post-doctoral research at University of Delaware from 2010-2014. He joined the "Thousand Talent Program for Young Outstanding Scientists". Prof. Li has broad research interests in chemical reactions at solid-water interface, with an emphasis on understanding the mechanism of adsorption behavior of environmental concentration chemicals (P, As, Ni, Zn) on soil minerals and the nature of surface reactivity of Fe(Al) hydroxides by spectroscopic techniques (solid state NMR, XAS, FTIR).
