Abstract: The ultra-high resolution and mass accuracy of FT-ICR MS can easily achieve tens or even millions of resolutions and sub-ppm mass accuracy, combined with SmartFormula technology to provide the most reliable element compositions and molecular formulas. At the same time, FT-ICR MS supports the most diverse cleavage techniques, among which SORI-CID is the fragmentation mode implemented using the ICR cell unique to FT-ICR MS. This technology can not only easily obtain the structural information of target compounds in complex systems, but also capture ions in the ICR cell for a long time, which makes it possible to study the gas-phase ion-molecule reactions and related dynamics.
