主讲嘉宾:张代洲,日本熊本县立大学环境共生学部教授。1983-1994年就读于北京大学地球物理系,获学士、硕士和博士学位;1994年在北京大学环境科学中心开始从事博士后研究,1996年留校工作;1999年在日本熊本县立大学环境共生学部开始任教。张代洲教授主要从事大气物理学、气溶胶物理和化学特性等相关研究,尤其沙尘气溶胶研究方面有多项研究成果。近些年,研究领域拓展到大气中微生物等生物气溶胶的研究,并取得多项原创成果。
报告摘要:
This talk provides a concise overview of recent studies on heterogeneous processes occurring on the surfaces of Asian dust particles. The research was conducted mainly or partly at the Atmospheric Environmental Laboratory, Prefectural University of Kumamoto, Japan, in collaboration with research teams from universities and institutes in China. The main topics include: (1) a review of water-soluble ions in natural dust particles over East Asia; (2) the morphology and mineral composition of sandblasted dust particles from the Tengger and Ulan Buh Deserts; (3) aerosol iron solubility influenced by anthropogenic sources and secondary processes in springtime Asian continental outflow at Qingdao; (4) aqueous-phase secondary organic aerosol formation on mineral dust; (5) the origins and aging of calcium-rich mineral particles in Asian dust transported to southwestern Japan; and (6) the pronounced heterogeneity and aging state of mineral particles in a slowly moving dust plume along the southwestern coast of Japan. In addition, a recent finding on the impact of massive African dust transport on regional atmospheric circulation in remote regions will be introduced.
