Currently, there is a laboratory of more than 2000 m2 in the Binhai Industrial Research Institute of Tianjin University, and a field observatory network in the Binhai New Area of Tianjin. The key laboratory is subdivided into biogeochemistry, hydrology and soil process, ecosystem restoration, atmosphere, isotope, and lake laboratories. The key laboratory has more than 30 sets of large scientific research instruments and equipment with a total value of more than 70 million RMB, which can carry out research work in the fields of hydrology, meteorology, ecology, soil, geophysics, and geochemistry.
